Tadaaaaaaa! Takde la cantik sangat, tapi boleh la nak pakai sendiri kan... Hehe. Lagipun dah lama tak menjahit, kalau pernah jahit pun, tah pape je pun I jahit. :)

Baru buat semalam baju ni, from scratch. Pastu hari ni pakai pi jalan-jalan. Hehe.

Masa jahit baju ni, Mak I call.

Mak: Ha, dah try pakai mesin jahit ke? (suara excited - sebab mak pun suka bab jahit menjahit ni)

Me: (Ketawe terkekek2). Dah. Tengah menjahit la ni.

Mak: Tu duk menjahit je la tu?

Me: Takdelah, ade jugak buat kerja-kerja rumah lain. Heheh. (Dan I seterusnya membebel machine ni best la ape la.. maklumla, first time dapat machine sendiri. Excited sikit la)

Mak: Duk jahit apa tu?

Me: Jahit baju.. baju adik. (giggles).

Mak: La... jahit baju dia... ingatkan jahit lapik untuk baby ke ape ke...

Me: Ala.. adik tak beli kain lagi... ni baru beli kain murah-murah ja saja nak try. Nanti adik beli la kain-kain buat baby's stuffs.

Sebenarnya my mom mula-mula macam taknak bagi I beli mesin ni, dia nak I beli mesin mana tah, tak sure. Sebab mesin ni half-computerized, dia takut apa-apa hal susah nak repair ke apa ke.. I pun jadi macam was-was nak beli. Then satu petang tu dia email, "Ok la adik, mak restu adik beli mesin jahit tu. InsyaAllah nanti dapat baby girl, boleh jahit baju untuk baby nanti, jangan lupa mintak kat orang tu *gathering foot, mintak free jaa..".

Ada satu malam tu mak siap call lagi - dia suh baca Bismillah bila nak mula guna mesin tu, dia pesan guna baik-baik.

Agaknya mak pun teringat time dia ngandungkan I dulu kot, opah & mak jahit baju kurung untuk I, baju smocking tu, dresses and macam-macam lagi... Mak pun jahit baju maternity dia sendiri kot tak silap I... Tapi dia jahit lagi cantik and lagi berfesyen la... Hehehe.

Brother Innov-is 50

Alhamdulillah... finally, dapat jugak I mesin jahit sendiri, dengan restu husband and mak yang tersayang. Ni la decision yang I buat, and among the happiest moment so far sepanjang pregnant ni. Ye la, dengan baby is on her way (ooppssss, did I mention 'her'? Hehe, insyaAllah dapat baby girl..), bukan senang nak decide beli benda yang tak patut ada dalam list at the moment. Tapi dah rezeki, Alhamdulillah. Lagipun dah bertahun-tahun I pikir nak beli mesin jahit. Entah kenapa time-time pregnant ni jugakla I pi beli. Happy sangat! Ngehehehe!

I bought this from one guy, jumpa kat Lowyat - named Kelvin. A very nice guy. Super fast service! Machine was directly delivered to doorstep malam lepas me & hubby balik kerja hari Rabu haritu. Explanation macam mana nak guna pun semua clear, machine semua dia check and test satu-satu before he left.

Let me share my first project with this new toy of mine in the next post. Hehehe. Tak sabar okay nak pakai mesin jahit ni! :D

Babymoon!

Yesterday (15 Feb 2012) was among the happiest day throughout my pregnancy so far... Hehehe. Will share about it soon. Anyway, hari ni nak share pasal short vacation dengan hubby masa cuti Maulidur Rasul & Thaipusam hari tu. Holiday dekat-dekat je. Hehehe.

Haritu Groupon ada promotion untuk stay at The Legend Resort, Cherating. Me & hubby pun purchased la untuk 3 days 2 night stay. I know... Cherating bukannya ada apa sangat pun kan, like a dead town gitu. Masa dulu-dulu je kot Cherating ni best. Huhu. So anyway, tak kisah lah. Me & hubby tak pernah gi honeymoon or holiday ke mana-mana since dah kahwin hari tu, so we're pretty excited untuk this short vacation tau.. Hihi. Tak dapat honeymoon, babymoon pun best jugak.

Legend Resort ni, tengok gaya macam 3 star je kot, resort biasa-biasa je.. Tapi best la, sebab tepi pantai kan, so angin dia memang best. Very the breezy gitu..

Lagi benda best kat resort ni ialah, it has two large swimming pools.

This is, em, let me just call it pool 1. Pool ni la yang me & hubby duk belasah. Hehe.

This side of pool 1 yang we all belasah. Just imagine we had half of the pool just to ourselves even though there were quite a lot of people during our stay there. Betapa puas nya berenang & berendam! Because this side yang 5-6 ft, so lifeguard tak benarkan the kids untuk mandi sini, unless under parents supervision. Tapi parents semua on the other side, so side ni memang kosong la. Best gile!

This is pool 2. You need to wear proper swimming attire untuk guna pool ni. So, pool ni memang selalunya kosong, because most of the visitors pakai baju biasa je untuk terjun pool. Hehe.

So, swimming was among the activity yang me & hubby memang enjoy habis kat Legend Resort ni. Petang tu lepas check-in we all dah terjun kolam, next morning pun terjun lagi, petang tu pun. Cuma last day je tak terjun. Sebab dah penat. Hehe.

Second day kat sana, kami drive ke Kemaman, ye lah, apa sangat la yang ada kat Cherating tu kan. So kami singgah kat satu kedai kopi yang famous kat sana. Banyak blog cerita pasal kedai kopi ni.

Ye, Kedai Kopi Hai Peng.

Kami kat sana nak merasa je. I ni punya pandai, gi kedai kopi order Neslo. Hmm... biasa-biasa je. Tapi hubby order kopi ais die. Memang sedap katanya. Aromanya fuhhhhh... bestttt (tu kate hubby). I ni bukannya nya boleh bau pun, dah hilang sense of smell atas sebab-sebab yang tidak dapat di-discover.

So dengan itu, we all pun beli ini:

Pas minum-minum kat situ, we all jalan-jalan cari kedai keropok lekor kat Geliga, sepupu I yang pregnant tu teringin nak keropok lekor satu kedai ni:

Kat sini kami melantak banyak gila otak-otak, hehe. Nyumssssss.

If nak order, jangan risau. Harga semua terpampang.

Kami tak order banyak pun.. makanan biasa-biasa je. Percutian bajet katenye... Hihi.

Ikan pari bakar dengan sotong tu, biase je la. Tapi yang bestnya, ketam masak cili dia tu. Sedappppp. Kami try warung ni pun sebab ada terbaca kat blog sapa tah.. Hehe. Tapi rasanya mungkin kalau amik ikan masak stim ke apa ke sedap kot? Hehe. Ada order sotong goreng tepung dia, tapi takdak pulak dalam gambar ni.

The next day after check-out, kami pegi Kemaman balik, nak beli keropok lekor kat Warung Otak-otak Che Wan... tu je la... lain-lain masa dihabiskan untuk tidur dan bermalas-malasan (which is the main thing we all nak buat). Kesimpulannya, we really enjoy our stay kat Cherating.. especially hajat I nak berenang-renang ketika pregnant tercapai.. and we just want to be out of KL town yang agak boring tu... Hehe.

Comel tak stroller ni?????????????????????????? I dah la memang terpikat dengan kecomelan kucing and burung hantu. Lagi la bila tengok stroller camni, excited weh!

Suka sangat dengan design-design Cosatto strollers ni!!! Design comel-comel camni la yang kite cari! Tapi stroller yang kat Malaysia ni semua cam boring-boring ja... Kalau la ada yang single stroller tapi design camni, tak mustahil I gi order kat mama & kids junction tu... Hehehe.

Pastu I terus head to http://www.cosatto.com/ untuk tengok design apa lagi dia ade.. Semua comel-comel belake! Cuma ye lah, benda takde depan mata, susah nak judge stroller ni bagus ke tak. Tapi ada search reviews on Cosatto strollers ni, so far tengok semua OK je. Design dia dah menepati citarasa dah. Hihi. Tapi I lebih suka if stroller to boleh front-facing, macam style Combi tu... and one thing for sure, ianya haruslah tidak terlalu besar or terlalu berat.. Maklumlah.. Kang tak muat masuk kereta pulak... Hehe.

Went for baby shopping last Friday night (wahh macam lagu Katy Perry TGIF pulakkkkk. hihi) dekat Ikea ngan hubby. Sebenarnya tujuan utama nak beli baby bath tub, my SIL kirim. Tapi dah alang-alang kat sana, I pun rasa nak shopping gak. Dah lama tak shopping tau....huhuh. Taktau pulak Ikea ada baby bath tub. Macam kat bawah ni haaa.. Siap ada rubber kat bawah dia... Kat dalam pun ada gak rubber so that tak slippery nanti.

Jadi, I pun beli jugak bath tub ni. Mula-mula nak beli bath tub First Year tu, tapi tengok yang ni pun macam comel and cambest je, so beli la. Lagipun jauh lagi murah dari First Year tu. If nak body support untuk baby time mandi tu, kemudian pun boleh beli asing kan... Then attach kat bath tub ni. Plastic dia pun OK I tengok... Nampak tu, dalam dia ada biru-biru cam ombak. Comellll.

Bip set tu pun satu I punya, satu my SIL's. Baby towel with hood and mesh basket tu pun my SIL punya. Tapi dalam plastic kecik yang bulat tu I punya. Hehehe....

Andddddd... disebabkan almari sekarang sangatlah penuh, kami beli chest drawer ni, bolehlah nak buat letak barang baby nanti, barang-barang mak bapak dia nak tumpang jugak sikit. Thanks hubby tolong pasangkannnn. Hihihih. Yang dalam plastic bulat kecik tu benda alah atas drawer ni la, 1-2-3, letak cats kat dalam. Hihihihi.

Tak sabar pulak rasanya nak tunggu expo kat MidValley hujung bulan 2 ni... Hehe.

Tapi aku saja nak suka-suka ja bila boring-boring kat rumah tu.. Takkan la 24 jam ja nak keluar... (padahal boleh ja kalau nak masak ka, baking ka, main keyboard ka, apa ka kat rumah tu kan.. hihi. Me: You beli ape???? (muke excited konon hubby nak bagi hadiah. haha)

Hubby: Ada la.. something. (sengih-sengih lagi).

Me: Ala.. ape???? (I curiously wondering)

Hubby: Ada la.. biar you tertanya-tanya.....

Me: Emm.... Ape? You beli roti kan? (sebab hubby selalu beli roti almond kat satu kedai ni kat KL Sentral lepas balik keje).

Hubby: Takla.. sebenarnye barang tu biase2 je, takdela best sangat. (Hubby dah mula rasa kurang confident kot, hahaha)

Hubby: Adelaa... bende ni biase-biase je la.. (die ulang lagi sekali, semakin kurang kot ke-confident-an dia nak reveal barang tu).

Today I learnt a new thing. Went to The Curve with hubby tadi, saja jalan-jalan. Dah penat jalan, we all lepak Secret Recipe jap... Hubby nak makan chocolate cheesecake. Emmm. Best. Hehe. I selak-selak menu dia, pastu ternampak satu gambar ni macam tomato soup. Teringin la nak makan. Dulu masa kecik-kecik bapak suka buat tomato soup. I dengan Anas la yang duk 'melantak' soup yang bapak buat tu. Hehe.

So... I pun nak order la soup tu.. I cakap..

Me: I nak ni, Minestrone Soup.
Waiter 1: Mushroom soup? Ok.
Me: Eh, tak, yang ni. (sambil pointing to the Minestrone Soup dalam menu).
Waiter 1: Oh, Minestrone Soup. OK.

Lalalala.. a few minutes later;

Waiter 2: Your mushroom soup Miss.
Me: Eh, tak. I order Minestrone Soup, yang tomato soup tu...
Waiter 2: Oh, Min-Nis-Tro-Nee soup? Ok2 (sambil tersenyum)
Me: Aaaa.... yer.... (sambil ada sedikit rasa malu, hubby sengih-sengih je. Haha)

Baru la ku tahu begitu pronunciation nye... yang aku pronounce masa order tu Mine-Strone. Hahah. Tah pape.

Tapi tadi ada Google, nak tengok betul ke macam tu pronounce, then jumpa ni in Askville...

Burpppp!!!! Alhamdulillah.. had biryani rice with tandoori chicken for lunch today, Pakistani style. Nyum nyum. Hehe.

All cooked using National mix masala (of course minus the veggie, bayam masak sup je tu. hihi). National is a Pakistani brand, I bought the spices from a shop in City One Plaza - located in the Masjid India area in KL. Mak I pun selalu beli mix spices kat situ. Kat belakang kotak rempah tu dah ada cara-cara nak masak nasi biryani, ayam tandoori and murghi tu. Jom tengok...

Ni resepi untuk masak Murghi. ala-ala kari, tapi rasa lain sikit la... Agak pedas rempah dia ni. Tapi sedap. Patut masak dengan ayam ke, daging ke, tapi I buat kuah je.. sebab dah ada ayam tandoori kan. By the way, kurangkan yogurt if nak kurangkan rasa masam. Masakan diaorang ni I tengok suka pakai yogurt..

Ni pulak untuk ayam tandoori (obviously, tertera kat gambar tu kan). Hihi. Sedap jugak rempah ni. Tapi I rasa kene tambah garam sikit kot. I sempat marinade 1 hour je, so dia nye taste tu tak masuk ke dalam isi sangat. Tapi hubby cakap sedap je. Hehe. Dalam cooking method tu kan dia suruh dip chicken dalam vinegar, I Google and baca-baca, rupanya it's for hygienic purpose, but still it's more to cultural thingy... Tak payah dip dalam vinegar pun takpe. Tapi I dip je...

Ni cara-cara nak masak biryani. Mak I selalu masak nasi biryani guna rempah ni je. Hubby cakap nasi I macam terlebih rempah sikit. Hehe. Maklumlah, tak berapa reti nak budget, masak untuk 2 orang je. Lagipun dalam briyani I tu, I tak letak chicken/ meat/ mutton pun... Again, sebab dah buat ayam tandoori. And stok ayam kat rumah pun dah abis... Mak I pernah letak potato dalam nasi dia, I suka sangat! Sedap! Tapi aunty I cakap if letak potato dalam nasi, nanti nasi tak tahan lama. Tapi tak kisah la, bukan nya nak simpan lama-lama nasi tu. Hehe.

Actually ada macam-macam jenis rempah biryani kat kedai tu. Tapi I tak ingat jenis apa yang I guna ni.. Huhu.

Haa... ni mango pickle. I dengan cousin I suka sangat ni! Sedap sangat! Jenama National gak. Pah I pun suka ni... Rasa dia masam-masam berempah gitu. Sape yang suke jeruk-jeruk tu, cubala try makan ni dengan nasi. Kot-kot jatuh cinta gak ke and kena dengan selera you all ke.. Hehe.

Tapi nasi briyani I takde warna-warna.. Sebab takde saffron kat rumah.. Pewarna merah tu pun takde.. So bergantung harap kat warna rempah tu je la... Huhu.

Apa-apa pun, kenyang je and puas hati makan tadi. Kira OK la... dah kahwin baru belajar masuk dapur.. hihi... Boleh improve lagi... By the way, Papadom tu, hubby yang goreng. Thanks sayang! :-)

Bored at the Office Part II

So I made this, using MS Excel. But I planned to do a better one in my next episode of "Bored at the Office". Tee hee.

Ish.. tengah-tengah pregnant ni la kan aku teringinnnnnn sangat nak beli mesin jahit. Haa.. macam mana tu? Barang-barang baby pun banyak lagi nak kena prepare... Paling penting nak prepare untuk beranak haa... Adakah ini termasuk dalam kategori mengidam? Heheh...

So surf-surf, adala jumpa satu model ni yang banyak jugak dibincangkan kat forum/ blog kat Malaysia, iaitu mesin jahit Brother NV50..

Mula-mula tengok brand Singer, ye la, dah tu je yang aku tau. Sebab Pah kat Tepeng pakai mesin jahit Singer yang lama tu... Sampai sekarang sihat walafiat mesin tu. Cuma kena rajin jaga/ servis la. Tapi ada jugak terbaca orang cakap mesin jahit Singer zaman dulu-dulu je yang tahan lama, yang sekarang baru-baru ni kureng sikit.. Taktaula sejauh mana kebenarannye. Hihi.

Tengok-tengok mesin jahit Brother ni macam best jugak. User friendly katenye... ade 135 built-in stitches. Siap boleh buat huruf-huruf lagi haa...

Our baby is one happy baby today !!!! Yeayyyyyyy!!!!

Because baby got all these from bonda (aka my mother in law, hehe)!!!!!!!!

My MIL's friends - Aunty Aini - just got back from UK... Mama kirim kat dia baju-baju baby for me and Yani (my biras)... Mostly unisex colors, ye la, taktau baby girl ke boy lagi.

Tapi ada terselit jugak pink-pink gitu.... Siap ada strawberry-strawberry lagi haaa kau... Various size. Tengok ada sleepsuit, besar gitu! Baby now ada 4 sleepsuits including yang I dah beli, tapi size besar jugak! Haha. Daddy kena beli aircond la nampaknya. Baru la best nak pakai sleepsuit kan... Hehe.

Ade stripes, polka dots, cartoon-cartoon, plain... nyum-nyummmm. Tak sabar nak bagi baby pakai baju-baju ni, Insya-Allah... :-)

Jom buat strawberry & blueberry cheese tart!!!!!!!

Alkisahnya, kakak iparku bawak balik cheese tart haritu masa balik Taiping. Punyala laris. Sampai dapat simpan sebijik ja untuk sepupu I yang teringin nak makan tu (pun tengah mengandung jugak, anak kedua. Tak dapat kang meleleh-leleh pulak air liurnye. Hihihi).

Pastu mak pulak teringin nak belajar buat cheese tart dari kak ipar, so kami pun keluar la beli bahan-bahan Sabtu lepas untuk buat cheese tart...

Bahan-bahannye:

BAHAN PASTRY
1 biji telur
100g butter
75g icing sugar
200g tepung gandum

KRIM CHEESE
250g keju Philadelpia (atau apa2 brand yg halal)
60g icing sugar
1 biji telur

Jom... kita tengok apa jadi hari tu (31 December 2011)... jadi cheese tart ka.. jadi apa ka.. hihi.

Ni cream cheese nya..... Mahai niiiiii. Guna jenama apa tah, hahaha.

Hubby tengah tolong mak.. Macam ni la menantu makkkkk. Hihih.

Ni pastry dia... Sorry la.. buruk... takde acuan. Guna ja acuan yang ada kat umah tu. Hihi.

Hubby tengah menunjuk skill dia... Cantiknye bunga-bunga you tuuuuuuu.

Tengah gigih dan fokus, punya nak buat cantik daripada kami yang pompuan-pompuan ni buat. Hihi.

Tadaaaaa. Mini cheese tart. Kecik jaa ni. Senang nak makan bak kata abang I.

Hehe.. Sebenarnya tengah pikir nak beli breast pump yang mana paling berbaloi nak beli. Dah baca banyak review pun still tak boleh decide. Lagi pulak bila rasa nak beli membuak-buak (terutama bila baru dapat gaji or jalan-jalan tengok barang baby), asyik terpikir takut nanti kat Mom & Baby Expo boleh dapat better deal. Last-last bila keluar memang tak beli apa la... Semalam pun jalan-jalan tengok barang baby lagi, tapi takde yang berkenan pun... Yang berkenan pulak macam mahal.. Hehe. Nak cari yang murah-murah aje, nak yang best pulak tu. Memang la susah. Huhu. Anyway, surfing-surfing tadi jumpa table kat bawah ni... Tak tau la info dia accurate ke tak.. tapi senang la sikit nak wat comparison.

I nak yang electric punya, so yang dalam my list sekarang are:

2. Ameda Purely Yours
3. Medela Freestyle
and yang terbaru sekali tengah tengok-tengok is Avent Isis IQ Uno (memandangkan yang Duo tu mahai, hehe)... dalam chart ni takdak.

So yang mana satu pilihan hati? Kadang-kadang rasa nak beli yang single pump dah cukup. Pastu terasa macam makan masa pulak nak pump nanti. Sebab niat di hati memang nak breast feed lama-lama sikit baby ni, insyaAllah...

Yang Ameda tu macam best, sebab ada closed system. So susu tak masuk dalam tiub and into the system. Tapi bila takda power point, kena pakai battery sampai 6 bijik. Tapi I baca-baca, kene pakai normal alkaline battery tu baru it works. If pakai rechargeable battery, won't work sebab katanye orang-orang ni, rechargeable battery ni slightly under power than alkaline battery. Unless, you guna 2-3 alkaline batteries + rechargeable batteries. Tu pun tahan dalam 4 hari je, if you pump around 4 times per day, 15-20mins each session. Kat office tu pun susah nak cari tempat yang ada power point tapi tertutup. Kecuali surau la. Hehe. Amboi, banyak nya nak beli battery! Tapi I rasa.. if kat office pun, 2 session je kot guna pump tu... Susah-susah, gi je la surau kan?

Freestyle pulak mahal. Hehe. Ni kalau ada duit memang terus beli kot? Tapi... ade je tapi die kan? Haha. Die takde closed system. Banyak jugak baca orang yang ada masalah susu termasuk kat dalam tiub... takut die mengalir masuk dalam motor je la... Taktau la kenape. Sebab angin ke, position tak betul ke... Tak pernah baca betul-betul lagi pasal ni. Lagipun kita boleh multi task bila pakai FS ni... so memang jimat masa la kan.

Yang Avent ni, susah nak cari compatible bottles ek? Unless memang pakai botol dia kot. Botol boleh tahan mahal jugak, hehe. Avent ni kalau tak silap, if takde power point, boleh manually pump... boleh pakai battery juge, 4 battery AA.

Medela Swing ni pulak.. sama macam Ameda, if takde power point, kena pakai 4 battery AA.

Kalau hal rosak-rosak tu, semua model I baca review dia ada ja yang rosak... Tapi kalau boleh dah beli mahal-mahal, harap tahan lama la kan?

So... so far I rasa I akan beli Ameda Purely Yours tu... taktau la lagi 2 - 3 hari rasa nak beli yang lain punya kaa.. Hehe.

Masihkah anda ingat kepada kumpulan Shades, Nico, A to Z dan Kool? Haaa.. Semalam diaorang datang Sri Pentas, to promote their brand new song called "Kerana Kasihmu".. (I guess.. hihi). Jadi alang-alang tu, diaorang singgah la my office jap. And diaorang perkenalkan diri diaorang as one new group named GX4 (Generasi-X 4; 4 obviously because it's a combination of 4 groups. I'm Gen-Y by the way). So here's a couple of clips masa diaorang menghiburkan office I, just to reminisce those good old times, zaman diaorang popular dulu-dulu, during the 90s kan? Tapi I tak sempat nak record time Nico perform.. Huhu.

I am now 19 weeks pregnant. Alhamdulillah, so far, semuanya baik. Hopefully everything is ok sampai bila-bila.. insyaAllah.. :-)

Jom, nak share gambar baby dalam perut. Hihi.

This is when our baby was only 5 weeks old. Masa tu scan awal-awal bukan apa, sebab perut sakit kat sebelah kiri, google2 and baca-baca, orang cakap better pegi check awal. Takut ectopic pregnancy @ pregnant luar rahim. I risau la... tu yang satu malam lepas balik kerja cari je mana-mana klinik pakar wanita yang buka. Alhamdulillah takde pape yang tak elok.. Masa mula-mula jumpa ni, dah boleh dengar heartbeat baby.. tapi time tu tak kuat sangat lagi. Tapi laju heartbeat baby...

This is when our baby was 16 weeks old.... Macam tengah azan kan? Hehehe.

By the way, I buat check-up ni at Klinik Pakar Wanita Medina, Taman Melati. Dengan Dr Marsita. Best doctor ni. Sebab dia serapkan nilai-nilai keislaman. Masa first time jumpa Dr Marsita, dia remind me & hubby untuk buat sujud syukur. Dia cakap, "Orang lain kahwin bertahun-tahun baru dapat anak, awak ni baru 3 bulan dah dapat. Kena selalu ingat Tuhan."

Lepas tu ada la doktor baca-baca doa sikit, sebab time tu kan I mengadu sakit-sakit kat abdomen bawah, tapi sebelah je. Then doctor remind suruh banyakkan baca surah Luqman, Maryam & Yusof. And also suami isteri jangan gaduh-gaduh, tak elok untuk baby dalam perut. Jaga percakapan and all that.

Kalau jumpa Dr Marsita ni, consultation dia RM80 and scan 4D tu RM70. Tapi kalau ada ambil apa-apa ubat or supplement dari dia, agak mahal jugakla... mau sampai RM300.

And my EDD is on May 12th, 2012. :-)

Look what I've got today!!!

Ya! Jersey Malaysia dengan nama saya dan nombor pilihan sekali!

Kalau nak tau, boss saya suuuuukaaaaaaa buat random lucky draw kat office. Kadang-kadang bagi parking space dia, petrol card, cash, belanja deposit untuk beli iPhone 3GS pun ada! Best kan?

Tapi petang tadi dia buat lucky draw untuk belanja staff dia jersey Malaysia. Alang-alang sebab ada orang buka booth jual jersey sekali boleh print nama kat lobby office tu. So siapa-siapa nak participate, sila lah bagi nama dalam kotak magic boss saya tu. Asalnya dia nak draw dua nama je, sekali dia decide nak draw 4 nama. Second name yang dicabut adalah nama saya, Farhana!

Kenapa nombor 15? Sebab birthday saya 15 November 1985. :-)

Bersiap-siap @ RaFa Bridal, Taiping.

Deco by Rafa. Tapi paper lantern tu I beli, macam biasalah. Beli kat the Basket Shop dekat dengan Petaling Street tu. Hehe. Murah daripada kedai-kedai lain and banyak warna-warna yang best!

Ni actually dah nak selesai semua, nak keluar for outdoor photoshoot. Entrance by Rafa, khemah pun by Rafa.

Bunga manggar macam ni idea mak. Hehe. Ade furry balls in various size and colors.

Mee bandung nyum nyum. Tak sempat rasa pun. I sendiri taktau ada mee bandung. Dah abis kenduri baru nampak. Hehe.

Patutnya time ni ada renjis merenjis, tapi tak jadi. Berlaku salah faham. Biasalah, kalut. Hihi.

I know.. I'm 6 months late.. but here's the update on my nikah day.

Yang pakai baju pink tu la husband saya, handsome kan? Hihi. Namanya Mohd Firdaus.

Ni pula saya, yang pegang bunga tu. Pelamin nikah ni my mom yang reka tau.

Bunga tulip tu beli kat kedai at Level U5, Semua House. 30 sen je satu (dia buat clearance). Kain belakang tu (2 layers, beli kat Kamdar je, hihi)

With my mak and bapak yang bertungkus lumus selama beberapa bulan untuk menjayakan majlis ni. Thanks mak thanks bapak! Love you guys so much!

Pelamin ni untuk sanding esoknya, yang ni pun mak saya yang reka (plus saya sekali lah, hihi). Flower ball tu pinjam kakak ipar punya masa dia tunang & kahwin. Kusyen tempat kami duduk tu mak mintak tolong Aunty Nor jahitkan.

Hi all... Dah setahun I tak update blog ni haa. Hari ni on medical leave, tapi tak dapat MC pun. Sebab jumpe doktor tengah hari semalam. Ingat macam dah nak ok. Tapi bangun pagi tadi sangat sangatlah tak larat. Hidung blocked and sangat sukar nak bernafas. Nak tidoq pun tak boleh.

Bangun tidur dalam kul 11 tadi.. and rase sedikit ok, walaupun hidung masih blocked dan pening-pening lalat. Then wat la kerja kerja rumah sikit..So hari ni rasa macam surirumah pule. Sekarang tunggu hubby balik. Hihi. So my last post was about my birthday kan... masa tu still single, tapi sekarang dah kahwin!!!! :-)

So classic. So retro. So stylish.

You know, I've always wanted to own a DSLR camera.

But for the fact that it's pretty much bulky, well, not pretty much..

It IS bulky... so... I just put it on hold.

And keep on searching for some other options that could give equal satisfaction as DSLR does.

I need a camera that captures THE moment just like that. Well.. you know.. moments?

And of course, I want the pictures to look great with as minimum hassle as possible.

Anyway, I am not a camera geek or whatsoever, but still, I do have interest in photography.

And honestly, I know nothing about what makes a good camera.

Be it the lens structure, sensitivity, viewfinder etc.

I just like it because I like it!!!

The price................................. (^_^')

Officially... I don't know.

But after Googling and reading about it, I found out that..
It's around 1000 USD.
So yeah... Almost RM4k.

But looking at the features, it's probably.. probably worth your money.

Before I proceed with this entry....

First..

Process in a traditional Malay wedding:

1. Merisik - i don't really know how to define this, but basically, it's a session where the guy's parents/ relatives meet the girl's parents to seek their consent on the intended marriage.

2. Bertunang (engagement)

3. Akad Nikah (solemnization)

Aha!!! Why did I start which such statements???

It's simply because....

I have just gone through the first process! Which is merisik. Haha. It was a super simple merisik session ok! And to me, I think it was pretty funny. Hehe.

Ok. Why do I say so? I mean, why did I say it was funny?

Because I was not ready at all!!! I didn't know that there'll be a session where Miki's mom gonna put a ring on my finger?! I thought during merisik his parents will only pass the ring to my parents and that's it.

So I was a bit gelabah and nervous when they call for the ring session coz I never thought about it, AT ALL. And FYI, that's only the second time I met Miki's parents! Haaa! My mom also gelabah, and she asked me to grab any selendang for that ring session (so that I'll look presentable, haha). I don't even get a chance to iron my selendang or to even touch-up my face.

But luckily, everything went well and I'm very very happy now that it's confirmed! We're getting married, Insya-Allah June 2011. :-)

And yes, this was on the 25th of Sept 2010.

p/s: FYI, there were hantarans as well, unplanned hantarans I must say. No, you don't wanna know the story behind it, don't ya? Hahahaha! Anyway, I think it does look like an engagement ceremony that day and yeah, we actually decided to skip the engagement ceremony due to this, besides other reason such as money constraint. Hahahaha!

Oh yes! I've finished sewing my dress last Friday.

Went to Kimi's house and sew the dress there.

And slept really late that night.

And wore it on the next day.

To meet my boy :)

And watched Day & Knight and Toy Story 3.

@ Andalas Corner, somewhere in Klang, with Rinny too.

Unfortunately, I don't have a full picture of me wearing that dress.

It's not really that great, because I know I can do better.

I was so eager to finish it!!! Haha!

p/s: Toy Story 3 was awesome! I love it!

I just can't wait to cut the fabric (leftover from my baju kurung). So, I started to play with it since 20:00. I'm thinking of making a dress by the way, but if it happens to turn out differently, or not as I wanted it to be... well... we'll see how it goes, hehe.

And taraaaa!!! Not bad, huh? It took me 2 hours to do this, but actually I only pinned all the pieces together, haven't got the chance to sew them, was thinking whether to hand sew or use the sewing machine?

Hmm.. I wonder if my auntie's sewing-machine is still functioning.

I think I should have shortened the top part.

i've had a great time in Krabi last april!! :-)
it was a company trip, and i was in Group 1.
we were there for 4 days & 3 nights (30th April till 3rd May)
so here are some pictures..

We stayed at Peace Laguna Resort @ Ao Nang Beach.

there are lots of pop art painting there i really really love them! they were sold around 1000 baht up to i don't know. but mostly cost around 2500 baht (+-RM250), those which i've asked. hee.

on a tut-tut, some sort like a cab. Chicken Island.

starting our island hopping. guess what the hell was i doing behind Ain? haha!

our first stop. owh i can't remember the name. huu.

on the way to Diamond Cave.

Our annual dinner, & of course, our Gelimat performance for STEPEG Cabaret! haha. We won the best performance OK!!!!! Congrats to the Artificial Lee Hom (huh?), Gelimaters, & of course our Hula Hooters! :-)

went to watch the premiere screening of this movie with reyna, fast & furious 4 (or as translated for Malay subtitle, PANTAS & GARANG, haha, weird.) last Wednesday. there was hell lots of people that day, you even have to line up like crazy and wait for your turn to go in. Luckily, we've got the best seat ever!! Ever? tak payah la melampau sangat. huhu.

hmm, well, i think i don't really fond with this movie, at all, as it er,.. erm.. quite boring for me. i don't know, i mean, i like cars, i love speed, the drift or whatsoever, but the story doesn't really, you know, attracts me. i was sleepy all the way (except for some exciting parts). yeah.

watched this movie last wednesday. i can't believe brad pitt took that role! hate him in this movie. wakaka. but hell yeah, it was damn funny! it was a movie about stupidity (yes, i love stupid movies. like austin powers, scary movie, etc haha!) that left me feeling stupid! it shows how an effin' small thing can be disastrous if falls to the hands of.. erk??? hehehe.

ok. i don't know how to describe them, but here is, an excerpt i took from TIME.com reviews:

i was supposed to go tu sungai wang (there's an event) today after finishing my sewing class, but i didn't (since my kamcheng friends can't make it). so what happened was, i go back and forth from kl central to hang tuah monorail station and wandering around, and on my way back to kl central, when i was about to scan my touch n go card at KL Central monorail, i saw this one guy. guess what i did?

i chased him. wakakakakaka.
bukan la i kejar die mcm main polis sentri tuh...
but i was like a stalker laaa...

i was curious.
curious to know whether he is iranian or malaysian (malay to be exact), or whatever race he could be. he got this nice haircut like, hm, sape ye? dunno lah, but the kind of haircut (in brown) that i really really like, tall, quite thin, skin colour=fair fair fair, style=punkish??? (but not the hair ok!)

he was walking with his friend, truly malay, because i've seen his friend's face, but unfortunately didn't get a chance to see his face.

PENAT! damn tired. he walked so fast, so did his friend, and i was like crazy walk fast2 sbb takot terlepas taktau mane die pegi. wakakaka. tahpape. mission merapu.

and in the end, i got to see his face, but, just in a blink of eye la. cute bangattttttt!!!!!!!! haha. well i think he's a malay, macam geng2 syed and syarifah ni. once we entered kl sentral, we went our separate ways... cewahhh. x dapat kejar lagi. ciss! i think he went for KTM Komuter, and i took Putra LRT, fyi. hehe.

okay. that's for today.

moral of the story: find something meaningful to do laaaa instead of stalking people aimlessly you mereng! huaaaaaaaa.

i watched "Changeling" last night. Quite a nice story.

Changeling means;

child surreptitiously or unintentionally substituted for another.

This story took place in the late 1920's. A story about corruption, violence, injustice, intimidation, within the police community in Los Angeles. Missing children cases were not taken seriously. Those who tried to go against LAPD, will be punished, executed, or even attended to asylum without any relevent explanatory. There's one dialogue that really captured me;

Reporter: Where have you been hiding all this while????

Criminal: I'm not hiding. Nobody's looking for me. (laughing)

Something like that la..

It really reflects how the LAPD worked on that time..

Well back to to the storyline, Christine Collins lost her child (Walter Collins), reported it to LAPD, the LAPD found a child, said that's Christine's son, but Christine denied, LAPD don't want to admit their mistake, LAPD said Christine has mental problem after losing her child for so long, and threw her into asylum under Code 12. And from there, Chrsitine strived hard to stand up for her rights. What about the criminal??? You gotta watch it. :-) It's a good story.

i watched Bolt last night with faten. and this movie was damn cute, and funny of course!!!
i would surely love to watch it again. :-)

Then went back home around 11.30, and guess what???

We've got all these bags for FREE!!!! Yippieeeee!!!!
haha. Actually, somebody, someone at my apartment, threw them away.
And then, me & faten was like, OMG! Why don't we just take them with us???? They're still in a good condition anyway.

Some even branded, you know, Christian Dior, Primavera, Braun Buffel, Alain Delon, Toscano. They are all vintage baby. Hehe. Oh, and there's even a Carlo Rino's keychain at some of the bags.

last weekend was very hectic.

moved in to new place.
went to bijou bazaar @ aswara.
visiting mid valley megamall.
loafing around bangsar village.
lepaking at starbucks.
and all of sudden. i'm in kuantan at 3 in the morning.
it's been 6 months since i left uia kuantan.

haha. it was fun. even though i didn't have much time to jalan² around kuantan, especially that Teluk Chempedak, but it's still great, and tiring, of course. huhu.

balik KL pukul 3 PM the next day.

cuzzies unite! haha. was lepaking with my cousins @ noodle station last thursday.
kami sajalah srikandi dalam family nih. cewaahhh. no lah. ini if dari sebelah mak la.. if on my father's side, quite a number, but x rapat sgt dgn diaorg. belah mak je slalu jumpe. huhu.

hey there people. how are u guys doing? it's 2nd day of raya, and i'm gonna blog about my.. err... niece???

alright, i don't know how are we connected as aunt-niece relation (very long story lahh), even me myself still can't get it right even was told about it over and over again, but yeah it's damn right. these two girls are my nieces.

indeed, there's a hell lot more of my nephews & nieces, but i just couldn't cover them all.
these 2 are among the closest one.

this is na, same age as me. she has a twin, a guy, means my nephew, but no pixie.

the one in the middle is wana. she's around 21 - 22 yrs old i guess.

oh ya, wanna know my sad sad story on 1st day raya?

that kebaya i wore in the pic, ala... terbakar man time i iron for the 2nd time that evening. adoiii... luckily ckit je kt lengan kat bhgn organza tuh. bleh nk cover2 ckit, lipat2 ke..haha.

and guess what?

this morning, my glasses pecah pulak, someone stepped on it. my bapak! hehe.

luckily only 1 side lah.

so td pagi pegi buat lg spec, it costs me about RM85.

eeee. tension tol.

my fault jugak. letak spec bwh katil, but then i don't know mcm mn bleh terkeluar dr bwh katil, that night my dad nk g toilet, terpijak laa atas glasses tu.

ahaa... i tido in my parents room time raya2 nih.

hm... i dont find anything weird about going holiday with my parents anyway..

i prefer "holidaying" with them la actually..
caller said that g holiday ngn parents x fun. really?
but to me.. fun ape.. expenses pn free..

lagipun dh spend time byk ngn frens laa compare ngn family..
especially utk perantau cam aku nih.. haha. perantau ke? ceh.
